Glasslifeform 2025
Also in this edition of Glass Lifeform, an interesting exhibition at the Pittsburgh Glass Center inspired by the glass beauties created by the Blaschka family, there will be a work of mine depicting marine life. The sculpture I created is a sea hermit crab in its shell with a sea anemone attached to its "little house". The difficulty in creating this little marvel is that no glue was used to make the entire work (except to fix it to the base) but everything was attached with fire resulting in a single piece of glass. The work can be admired from February 7th to March 20th. The work is not for sale.
